I’m always down to try a super hero action drama, especially if the superheroes are fighting the good fight against evil villains. This drama was an easy watch, and the pacing moved the story along at just the right speed to keep me happy. I watched this entire drama in one sitting, over the weekend and while it wasn’t perfect, it was entertaining and I came to really enjoy the different characters.
Our superhero, Kang Sang Ung, is poor as shit but one day, he gets these powers that burns cash to make him super strong. The more cash he has, the stronger he is so of course the poor guy gets powers that he needs money to use. He’s in a happy relationship, with a supportive partner and while she has a tight grip on their finances, he can’t help but answer the call of duty and burn that cash. Things get dicey when his superheroism starts costing him, not just money, but the relationships in his life. He meets two other people with their own superpowers and they form a crime fighting team that uses their powers to save the people that can’t save themselves.
This is one of those dramas that has an obvious good guy and bad guy. You can’t help but cheer for the good guys because no matter how hard things get, they never give up. With the odds stacked against them, they still show up and keep trying to fight the good fight. The bad guys in this show were some serious bad guys. I haven’t seen Lee Chae Min play the villain but holy cow, he did a really good job in this role, as the villain. He was freaking crazy, unapologetic, and super competitive about being the bad guy and surprise surprise, I dug it. I thought he added another pretty face to the cast so I wasn’t mad about his addition. This show isn’t perfect by any means but it sure was entertaining.
Overall, this was a fun drama that kept the action coming with every passing episode. There were times when the story lagged, and there were things that I felt didn’t go anywhere but my overall enjoyment of the show didn’t suffer that much. Lee Jun Ho is really killing it with these superhero characters and the girl that played his girlfriend in this show was a good actress so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any more of her work and it’s always nice to see Kang Ha Na and Lee Chae Min so this was a fun addition to my 2026 dramas. I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for a superhero action drama. This one delivers.
